We have water!!! - and mulch!
We are so thankful that today we had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Donnie Freeman, owner of the store adjacent to our community garden site, Freeman's Accessories. We are even more thankful for his willingness to work with us to use his tap to water our garden!! Gardeners, if you get a chance and you're at the garden site, stop in Mr. Freeman's store and let him know he's appreciated!
We also acquired a 100-gallon tank to store water in closer to the garden site, making it easier for gardeners coming to water to hook up there, rather than at the spigot every time. If you are interested in joining our watering schedule, please let us know. There's still plenty of availability!
