More Progress!

A few of us met last night to clean up and develop the garden site; check out our progress below. There's even more pics on our facebook page (search Seaboard Jardin Maravilloso) or on the slideshow to the right.
Don't forget, this Sunday, May 1st we'll be meeting and potluck-ing at La Puerta de Esperanza at 6p (located at 715 Chipley Avenue).

We added these stakes to our cucumber beds.
Once we get some chicken wire between them,
we'll be ready for some vertical growing!

We got some help planting some green pepper seedlings.

We (a select few of us, rather) used some muscle and moved
some of the top soil piled around the perimeter

This doesn't look like much, but that bare spot is where
a big pile of dirt used to be. Great work guys!

We added signs to label our seedlings
(in English & Spanish, of course!)
Vincent helped us clean up and straighten out
some of our garden walls.
Spreading mulch in the pathways.
(Thanks again CPW and Mr. Stockman for providing this for us!)
Working on developing and leveling out our ramp for
wheel-chair accessibility.

Mulched!
