April 2nd Work Day Recap

We made great progress last Saturday for our work day at the garden site. Check out what we accomplished!

We created two new raised beds for herbs, sized 6x2 feet each.

Next, we cleared the land at the garden site for these new raised beds, and also created a level ledge so that the herb beds would be wheelchair-accessible.  

Then, we lined our raised beds with newspaper to reduce weeds, and then filled them with soil.

Finally, we put up our sign.
