Students at La Puerta de Esperanza's after-school program had an opportunity to help the community gardeners by planting seeds today -after they finished their homework, of course. Coordinator Linda Halsey and her family set up supplies and a work station for students to sow various plants for the garden. As the plants grow, students will tend to the seedlings and learn about gardening throughout the process. Parents and teachers- have some kids who might enjoy growing some seedlings? We'd love for you to help us get some seedlings started!
